On December 23, 2016, Angola government announced the highly significant decision  to immediately withdraw  their troops from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, to "keep neutrality", during the on-going political crisis and the ensuing violence. The decision was long forthcoming, according to AfroAmerican Network sources in Kinshasa.

On Sept 26, 2016, Angola's government withdrew its ambassador to the Democratic Republic in Congo and its diplomatic mission in DRC’s capital Kinshasa and sent them to Brazzaville, across the river. DRC Civil Riots on Sep 19-20, 2016

Anti-Kabila protests across Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) have turned violent. The protests in the capital Kinshasa, today on December 20, 2016, has led to tens of civilians killed by Joseph Kabila's Republican guard and the police. In other areas, including the cities of Lubumbashi, in Katanga Province, and throughout Eastern parts of the country, Joseph Kabila's army and police have been shooting at civilian protestors with automatic weapons, leaving a trail of death and destruction.

Fidel Castro, the former Revolutionary leader of Cuba has died. The news was announced by his brother Raoul Castro, the current leader of Cuba. 

"The commander in chief of the Cuban revolution died at 22:29 hours this evening," President Raul Castro said on Friday, November 25, 2016.

President Raoul Castro said, in a message to the Cuban nation the nation broadcasted on state television that Fidel Castro had died and will  be cremated on Saturday, November 26,

"Pastor Rick Warren has played a role in the creation of Peace Plan organization, but it is not his initiative, as the idea came from other people who co-founded the organization. In the first and second year, Rich Warren attended the annual conference of Peace Plan and contributed some money. But now, we thank God for not allowing Rick Warren to attend Peace Plan conferences and not allowing him to give his money. We praise God for the fact that Rick Warren has not been in Rwanda for a while, because when he comes, he hijacks actions that are not his and people are mislead  and attribute him the Peace Plan conference." 

It is in these harsh words that Alexis Bishop Birindabagabo, the head of Peace Plan and a close confident of Rwandan dictator General Paul Kagame expressed the desire

Nobody is indispensable" It is with this unequivocal statement that the US Ambassador to the United Nations, Samantha Power yet again underlined the US Government position against the attempts by African dictators, including Rwandan President Paul Kagame, to cling to power.

Colonel Patrick Karegeya and daughter

A member of the South African elite police unit, known as Hawks, has withhold pieces of evidence in the murder of the Rwandan former spy chief and opposition leader, Colonel Patrick Karegeya, sources close to the family have told AfroAmerica Network. According to the sources, the police officer allegedly tried to get bribes to falsify or make the evidences, including fingerprints, disappear. No information is available regarding who was going to pay the bribes, but it is believed it could be Rwandan government intelligence operatives based in South Africa.
